How much is the cost for Rhinoplasty?

by admin on September 3, 2010

I’m a 17 year old male. About a year ago i got jumped and my nose doesn’t look the same plus i already had a deviated septum to begin with, and one nostril larger then the other. I do like my nose its a roman nose but its just a little too big so i do want to get both correctional and cosmetic surgery done is there any way for my insurance to cover both? Plus i cant really breath through my nose especially after i got jumped.

You are going to need a rhinoplasty AND a septoplasty. A rhinoplasty just fixes the bump/shape. The septoplasty fixes the septum. The septoplasty will be covered by most insurances. Rhinoplasties are about $5,000. Rinos are cosmetic and will not be covered, even if you have it done simultaneously but if you do get it done at the same time, you don’t have to pay for the anesthetic because it will be under the septoplasty costs.

I’ve had it done. I also had a deviated septum and a bump.

The cost will be determined in a large part on your geographic location. The quality of the surgeon will also be a factor.
